After 8 days of hard travel, you come across a small farming village in the early afternoon. There are maybe a dozen houses, some with thatched roofs but a few larger ones that may be buildings of importance rather than houses. There are horses and carts near by, but no one clearly outside at the moment. You can faintly smell (but not see) the sea. What do you do?

• Go into the first house you see and ask for help~
• Go into the biggest building you can find and ask for help~
• Get water from the town's well on the outskirts~
• Stand in the town square and wail until something happens~
• Steal a horse, continue north~
• Ignore the village, keep walking. The sea can't be far away.~
