distressed-barstools

Picture, if you will, three barstools, light wood painted black, with a slatted seat back and an easy spin. Consider varying amount of distress (scraping of the paint, looking more worn) on these chairs. 1-5, how distressed would you like them?

• 1, no distress, gleaming black paint~
• 2, light distress, a bit of scraping here and there but pretty good condition~
• 3, moderate distress, clear they have been well used~
• 4, heavily distressed, more wood colors than paint~
• 5, almost fully scraped, only bare hints that it was once painted black~
